"Monday Morning You Sure looked fine...."

Another week has gone by, consisting of sleep, work, home, sleep, work, home (a slight difference to a newborn's eat, sleep, poop, eat, sleep, poop) just the adult version, lol.

My New Puppies
A slight excitement for the week was winning an auction on TradeMe for a new pair of Guess Shoes, my third pair. Worth $200US bought from the Rodeo Drive Guess Shop in Hollywood, worn like once. They're so cute an can't wait for summer when I can wear them a lot more often.

And from a different angle
I wore them last night to church to show them off, thankfully it was an unusually warm day yesterday so my toes didn't get cold. So worth getting them. I love shoes and the other day I counted the heels that I had already, 8, and so I then decided that since it coincided with the number of watches that I have, I now need to reach double digits for both. It was perfectly coincidental that I then came across this gorgeous pair of sandal heels on TradeMe. I now need to find my tenth pair of heels.  The ninth watch has been spotted and is about to come into range. Here is the collection of my Guess Shoes, which I have no doubt will continue to grow as the years go by.

The cute angle with the G and the bow.
The shoe obsession does not just involve Guess Shoes. It extended to Tony Bianco earlier this year when I walked past Shoe Connection during a sale and spotted the below beauties. 12.5cm high pink suede & leather heels. Now they'll be the highest I shall go otherwise I should have been a ballet dancer to know how to walk on one's toes.

and Tony Biancos
Wedding shoes were 10cm heel and so worth getting, I lasted 12 hours in them without taking them off.

As for the rest of the week Simon and I bought a new Mac, which looks likely to be our computer, which means I can delay in upgrading mine. So I'll probably transfer my files over to my sign in on the mac and look at getting a Sony vaio net book for me at a later date. Pink of course!!!

Today, Monday, as promised I picked up my husband's jacket from being repaired. They did a brilliant job and it cost next to nothing for it to be done. So now hopefully the next thing to get repaired will be our car which needs a new heater matrix hose so the engine doesn't over heat and blow itself up. Needless to say we've been without a car for 4 weeks now. We're borrowing a car from one of the lady's at Church while she's away, which is nice but I miss our car, I miss European!

I whipped up a cheesecake today which I am uncertain as to whether it is going to set as yet, I put gelatine in but doesn't mean it'll quite do it's job. Fingers crossed.

Out to dinner twice this week, with the Pastor and his Wife tonight and with friends tomorrow. A slightly busy week but nothing to major really. Just less peace in the evenings later in the week.

Till next Monday......

"Just Another Manic Monday..."

Well it wasn't really, not in this household. I slept in till nearly 9, lay about for a bit and then got up to watch Desperate Housewives from last week. The day continued on and I got slightly more productive. I walked to the mall to get some chocolate chips for biscuits (chocolate chips of which appear to be almost foreign in places, only pam's appears to be the only ones who supply chocolate chips, everyone else is drops and buttons which just ain't the same in some things). I also bought new toothbrushes and had some more of our India photos printed along with more wedding ones.

I had a brief visit from our friend John who dropped off my 2 new O.P.I nail polishes. These being "Kiss Me on My Tulips" and "Lourve Me Lourve Me Not".

"Kiss Me on My Tulips"
I decided to step out of my usual "PINK" purchase and went for a purple as well. Below you can see Kiss me on my tulips. Next week I'll paint with Lourve Me and maybe with silver shatter on top.

As for the rest of the day I got on the bus (as our car is still not working) to go and take my husband's jacket to a repair place after it tore when washing. When I got home I watched some more Gilmore Girls and starting getting the cookie dough ready, yum yum yum, I think I ate the equivalent of 2 1/2 half cookies in dough. They cooked pretty well too.

The rest of my day consisted of cooking tea (which isn't a common thing - I have a wonderful husband who does it every other night), baking the cookies and doing the ironing while watching more episodes of Home Improvement and an ep of Midsomer Murders.

Next Monday who knows what I'll find to do..... have the jacket to pick up.
